Hardwood

Color and construction type are important factors when choosing hardwood. Whether you are looking for a more contemporary setting, or a more elegant, traditional setting in your home it all comes down to preference. When it comes to construction, there are two choices: solid or engineered. Solid planks are created with a single piece of wood which lasts for years. However, engineered planks are made from multiple layers of wood, which are designed to resist humidity.

HARDWOOD INSTALLATION

Current Flooring: Our installers will evaluate your floor/subfloor construction and will know whether or not to remove the existing floor, or to proceed and install on top of it. If the installer does decide to remove the existing flooring, they will then determine the amount of preparation needed for the subfloor.

Testing for moisture: Proper moisture testing of floors is necessary so they don’t buckle, cup, or develop gaps down the line. This step is critical for both solid and engineered hardwood.

Installation/Quality Work: With the use of proper equipment, such as nail or glue boards, our installers will work efficiently to create consistency in the look of the floor. At Yalla Construction, our team of professionals ensure to deliver nothing less than excellence, making your floors look more beautiful than ever.

Carpet

Whether you are looking for a formal or informal setting, we have the right style of carpet ready for you. When choosing carpets, it’s important to distinguish which type will suit your home best. There are four types of carpet categories: texture, twist, loop, and pattern. Texture gives your home a more velvety look, with an easy-care process. Twist carpets hide footprints and vacuum marks effortlessly. Loop carpets are ideal for rooms that want more style and texture, they are durable and hide footprints as well. The pattern arrangement uses a mix of cut and loop yarn, to design an original pattern efficiently.

LAMINATE INSTALLATION

Preparation: In order to begin carpet installation, our installers will make sure the surface of your floors are clean, dry, and level.

Foundation:Our installers will begin nailing or gluing tack strips, in order to hold the carpet in place. The pad then is laid and secured with staples/glue.

Line up seams & Stretch the carpet:Depending on whether your carpet is solid or patterned, our installers will use different approaches to line up the carpet seams. Lastly, they will carefully stretch the carpet and give it a nice finished look.

Laminate

Laminate is designed to replicate the color, grain, and texture of real hardwood. Laminate floors are resistant to stains and scratches. Whether you are looking for high gloss, hand scraped, or distressed textures, we assure to give you a look that is elegant and beautiful. Compared to hardwood, laminate is considered more “green” because it uses less wood and resources to manufacture, which is inherently much safer, creating an eco-friendly environment.
